Air Traffic: control (collaboration with Tomiko Jones), Rocket Gallery, Tucson, AZ /// July 2008
I was given the opportunity to put on an exhibition right before I got back to Tucson after almost a year of being in South America. I sent out a search for a place to house sit, David Aguirre was gracious enough to offer me The Rocket Gallery as a place to live and work. For two weeks straight we worked on the exhibit which was a one-night-only event.
The amount of noise in the sky around Tucson consists of police helicopters, military aircraft, commercial airliners, birds, insects. What we wanted to do was re-create this experience.
