Air Force Won, El Levante Residency, Rosario, Argentina /// December 2007
During my two-month residency at El Levante, I wanted to create a piece that talked about the American involvement in Latin American politics. At the time I was reading Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano. I modeled the aircraft after Air Force One and envisioned this patriotic shadow flying over the landscape below, all the while dropping paratrooping testicles out of the back.

Paper-mache, panty hose and sand. Airplane - 8 x 8 x 2.5 feet
