Fossil Creek Collages, Mixed media on paper - All are 6.5 x 6.5 inches - 2005/06
The following collages were started when I went camping by myself for a few days in the Arizona rim country at a place called Fossil Creek. I wanted to make art that dealt with the encroachment of man on nature's habitat. I continued to work on these during a trip around California a few months later as well as a trip down the Baja California (Mexico) penisula during the summer. There are 34 in the series.
